Hong Kong, the youth standing up against the abuse of power
Voci Globali meets Oscar and Tony, two boys that were raised in the former British colony. Today both of them are facing the consequences of a city that tries to fight against Chinese repression. Through their eyes we will go through the SARS outbreak, the Umbrella Revolution, the housing crisis, the kidnappings of the five booksellers at Causeway Bay, until this new massive protest, marked by police’s abuse of power. In this loud call for democracy, the only thing we know is that Hong Kong’s future is as uncertain as ever.
